I am helping a friend clean out his grandad's garage and found this glass. No clue what it fits or if it is front or rear. Gut feeling says it could be from a 40's car. All three pieces appear to be in decent shape besides the 50+ years of dust on them. Does this look familiar to anyone?

Clean them up and look for the date code. Usually in one of the corners. At least you would know what year they belong.

Thanks Russell, I did as you suggested. On the 2 glass pieces with the chrome it says PPG Duralite AS 80 Safety Window. The numbers on the other piece are not readable for the most part. All I can see is PPG Safety Window. I found a vent window also. No picture yet but written on that is PPG Duralite Safety Window 452 71 (or T1). That one seems to be from rear of a 4 door car.
