Hi everyone,
Recently purchased a 68'. Engine is a 350 RamJet PFI, roughly 4500 miles and had everything serviced before winter.
So the issue - driven yesterday for a short drive and heard some 'whirring' when accelerating from standstill which got louder i believe when also turning the wheel.
Today, another short drive, same noise. Ten minutes in and seemed to lose all power accompanied by a strange engine noise, similar i imagine to running out of fuel (haven't run out of fuel). Quickly put into neutral and stopped road side. Tried to start again - nothing.
Towed home, started fine in garage and idled well, revs fine. Switched off and since cant get it to start. Something obviously affected the engine while driving and is now preventing it from starting.
Any ideas? I'll answer any questions that I'm able to.
