A few weeks ago, I met one of my new neighbors up the street. He had seen me go by in my '63 Impala SS several times and was telling me about a local car show right here in town, called Cruise Above the Clouds.
I was thinking it was going to be a little rinky-dink afternoon car show with maybe two dozen cars... When I did a Google search on it, I learned it's a huge two day event, and even Dennis Gage from the "My Classic Car" TV show did a story on it back in 2017. It was cancelled in 2020, but I'm looking forward to it next September. It takes place less than three miles from my house!!!

I saw that episode. I never knew that Valiant was its own make in the beginning. That info was from a different episode. The one on here was a Plymouth.

We had a '63 Valiant Signet with the "mighty" 170 inch, 101 HP slant six! What a pig!
My buddy had one a '64 with the 225/145 hp with a factory 4 speed That was a fun car!

I’ve never had a job driving, other than my commute. Right now I only put about 4,000 miles a year on my daily driver and that is with none of my project cars on the road right now. We do plan to move, but I still want to live no more the 10 or so miles from work.

I’ve never owned a new car and have never had any real problems with any car I’ve owned. Let someone else take the hit on the depreciation. I have also own every car I have ever bought except for my first one and that one went to the salvage yard minus the engine and trans that I put into my ‘72 Monte Carlo and then it went into my El Camino. Then I had another engine built for the El Camino and the old engine went into my buddy’s Camaro.
