I bought a 1964 Bel Air with a 230 6 in it. Instead of going V-8 I thought I’d see what performance parts available for it . With that said does anyone have some parts they would like to part with ?
I figure if a build it I need some 283 pistons (flat tops ?) ......4 barrel / multiple duce manifold ..... split exhaust ( but did see a cool build thread on here) ..... cam (?)
Electronics for original distributor
Any advise would be helpful . I saw a book by Leo Santucci , worth it ?
I am not against buying a already built motor within reasonable driving distance of north central Florida
Thanks Dan

Looking for any information on the Chevy One Ton Humpback Panel truck.... Anything would be helpfull

Not sure if the article is still available, but years ago I read about a ‘62 Vette where they took a 230 and squeezed out 460hp! I forget if they fabricated a triple 4bbl manifold or one for twins, but it was quite the screamer.

Car Craft, I think. Maybe Hot Rod, but I don’t think it was. Maybe someone could ping Freiberger?

Original post is a few months old, but here's a link for future reference:
(i'm into the 153 4 cyl, which, of course is basically a chopped down inline 6)
