Attempting to upgrade to an electronic ignition on my ‘56 Bel Air . It has original 265 motor . I purchased and installed an after market 2 wire distributor . MSD coil and 6AL box . It’s not working ,not getting any spark . I have power at coil and grounds seem ok . Am I missing a piece to the puzzle ? Any suggestions . ?

Be sure to run a full 12 volts to the new system you've installed. You can remove the porcelain resistor on the firewall and use a distribution block off a 70's vette in place of the resistor. Your MSD needs a full 12v to function properly.

This photo was taken before the car was blown apart for clean up and paint.
