has anyone bought lowering ft. springs. Ecklers has 2", Danchuck has 1 1/2. I want about a 2" drop.
I dont want to cut my original Nomad springs. but I do have a set [same orange stripe-weight rate] which I would cut. but dont know how much to cut.

know that lowering springs will affect your wheel alignment throughout the suspension travel. you may want to remove the springs to see exactly what will happen as you raise and lower the car.

You’d be better off with drop spindles. They lower the car by raising the wheel mounting location on the knuckle thus keeping the original suspension geometry and alignment specs.
