need to replace the rear shocks on my 48 coupe with a chassis engineering rear leaf spring kit. Mine are 25 years old and CE is now owned by heidts and they cannot cross reference the shocks they used. Emailed both Monroe and Gabriel and they cant identify them.

I had the CE kit on my ‘46 Chevy. Seem to recall hearing the shocks were from a ‘62 Chevy 1/2 ton pick up. You should be able to find a guide that gives the fully closed and extended dimensions of similar shocks.
