what is the correct name for the oil cups on each end of generator? I need 2. and want to ask for them by the correct name.

I’ve never heard of them called anything else but “oil cups”. I checked my Texaco Automobile Lubrication Guide and they’re referred to as “oil cups”.

On the generator there are 2 sizes, 3/16" and 1/4", you need one of each.

BTW, if you rebuilt your generator recently you likely used sealed bearings, which do not require oiling. Original bearings were open. By recently I mean within the last 55 years. lol
