I had a 1955 Chevy Bel Air , and never even knew it may not have had a sway bar, can anyone tell me why they didn't add those sway bars to prevent roll over or hard cornering?
They were available for the front as an option RPO 406 – Stabilizer Bar. Not be standard and extra cost very few bought the option. They became more of standard sometime in the later years.
