225k runs good. The only thing found is fuel pressure running 80 lbs. Since fuel pressure regulator is under the intake is there a downside of a external bypass regulator capping off return line from intake. This one 58lbs static pressure.

Removing the top of the intake manifold to replace the fuel pressure regulator isn't that difficult.

There are specific tests in the FSM to confirm the regulator is at fault.

Wow! The pressure is really high. Removing the upper plastic intake is not hard.
