Can I check the cambar by placing a vertacle level on the tire? I did and minw is in about 1/4 inch at the top of the tire from level, is that ok?

The tire is wider at the bottom than the top, because of the weight on it. You need to measure the wheel.

Measure off of the rim, NOT the tire.
