Would a 59-61 choke lockout rod work on a 58 tri power setup. Thanks Vin

Jens I saw that on the showcars site along with the lever that goes on the front carb. problem is that it wasn't for 58. After i posted I found 58 only linkage sets that have the choke rod. To answer my question I guess there is a difference between 58 and 59-61. thanks for your help. VIN

VIN the 58-59 assy manuals show superseded part number but I think its the same rod. Here’s the one on my 58 from showcars.

Jens I called show cars and ordered the front lever and got the other parts from auto city but it looks like you got that 59 rod to work. One more thing the screw that holds the lever on the front carb is that a special shoulder bolt?

Yes it is. It’s also the same one that’s used on many generic Rochester 2gc fast idle cams

Is there any place to buy one or does it have to be from a donor? If not I’ll have to make one at work. Thanks for all your help I really appreciate it.
