Ive got a totally rust free, and always was, 77 chevelle purchased disassembled at an estate sale as it was being cloned to a Laguna with a title that weve assembled to see what is and isnt here. the engine is a 73 454 with break in time only, automatic but have a complete 4 speed swap less trans and bell housing. it appears were missing a passenger door glass, rear bumper and all bumper pistons.Large amount of nos gm bits still in boxes, all weatherstrip and a treasure trove of chrome pieces, all new front end parts installed that have never seen the road, engine runs like a swiss watch. The body is arrow straight, door gaps are excellent as is the hood and trunk. It came with several urethane bumpers, the one we used for assembly is near perfect. It would appear with the exception of a few trinkets and a set of swivel buckets, the car could become a beautiful Laguna. We bought a package of cars including this one and Id like to pass it on to someone who would like a fairly easy project to complete. i have a lot of pictures on my phone I can send along if anyone is interested. Im not looking to be a pig on price, but would like some input on the value, as this is the first colonnade GM ive had here at the shop

Too bad I’m not looking for another project (see my list of cars, most are projects), I’d be all over it. Sadly, the Colonnade cars are not worth as much as the previous years of Malibu/Chevelles or even the ‘78 up Malibus, but they are gaining in popularity. My first car was a ‘76 Malibu Classic that I always wanted to do a Laguna conversion on. Never had the funds and the car was rust belt rusty. The first time I went to the Carlisle, PA swap meet there was a ‘74 Laguna 454/4 speed in white and maroon for sale right inside the gate we entered through. My Malibu was white and maroon, so I immediately fell for that car. But again, didn’t have the funds to buy it (it was $4,500.00). Is the Laguna nose the sloped ‘75-‘76 version? And do you have the quarter window louvers?
