Anyone use this side mount from P.O.L. It is for a 55 to 57. You drill out two existing rivets and drill two new holes to accept the bolts. They say there are two mounts, one to put the engine in the stock location and one to move 3/4 inch forward. I ordered stock mounts but got the forward mount position and now I was told by P.O.L. that the mount on the left goes on the right. Looking at the picture of the mount in my car, left side showing, there is no way to switch one for the other. Anyone ever use this mount for the stock position? Can you put the left on the right? Got me going on this one.

it looks like it would work switching from one side to the other,
the issue is the rivets that were removed,
switching the brackets would make removing the rivets not necessary but you would have to drill two more holes per side.
but i guess you could put high grade bolts in the old rivet holes.
I don't have those brackets, actually I have never seen them before.
i looked at the instructions for those mounts i didn't see any info on switching them from side to side.

They tell you what rivets to remove. There are only two rivets that would work to set mounts in the right spot. No other rivets are available, as mounting points, in the side frame area used right behind the main front crossmember. If you switch sides the mount faces the wrong way to acess the rivets needed for mounting onto the frame side rail.
