My younger brother had a nice van 1969 g10 ? Was blue and didnt have any doors except the driver and pass doors and a two door like tail gate deal (this might have been called :a "chevy van"?) He did a lot of hand painted lines and designs on the sides had carpet.. and paneling He also painted something else. The tabs had expired and they were small blue stickers with the year in white letters that went into the corner of the plate. What if you dont have money for tabs ? get model car paint and paint tabs on the plates it worked for a while . But a cop saw it and gave a ticket

With my lack of artistic talent I would be caught before the paint dried.

I'm originally from the ONCE great city of Flint, Michigan. The birthplace of General Motors, where A C Spark Plug was formed and headquartered, where the first Corvettes were hand built, and where my 1955 Chevy was made.

Artistic talent would have had nothing to do with it for me. With my luck I would have been caught while doing it.

My neighborhood is pretty quiet but located near a lot of main roads and highways. That being the case, people hide vehicles for various reasons in my area. There was an SUV parked around the corner from my house for days. It didn’t belong to anyone living on my block and it had a dealer tag on it. The tag was covered by a plastic cover, which is highly unusual for dealer tags. So I decided to investigate and found that the tag was actually just a high resolution photocopy of a real tag. It was paper. So I was guessing this person didn’t have it registered legally and probably didn’t have insurance. You have to move your vehicle at least every two days in my city, so I reported it and it was labeled to be towed, but I think the owner moved it before it got towed.
