95, C1500, 5.7L, TBI, extended cab
The truck sat for a few weeks. If you turn the ignition key to the on position you have to wait 10 to 15 seconds You can hear a click sound (under the dash behind the gauges on the driver side) then all the dashboard warning lights come on and you can start the truck and it would run fine.

If you try to start the truck before the dashboard warning lights come on, the motor will turn over but doesn't start. No spark at the plugs, sprayed a quick blast of starting fluid and no change. Dashboard volt gauge reads 9 volts. Voltage at the battery is 12.65.

I've checked the fuses, driver side under the hood and driver's side end of the dashboard with a continuity tester and all fuses are good.
Now I don't hear a click, no dashboard lights, motor turns over but no start. The seat belt buzzer works.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like a bad ignition.
Not where the key goes, but the electrical part.
Located on the side of the column behind the dash panel

Agreed but on 95-up it's inside the column. It's also kind of a problem area on that newer style column.

You are absolutely correct. Not like the saginaw.
Believe you have to split the column cover.
Not too bad to do
