Installing main bearings in my 79 Vette (long story), and when replacing the rear bearing with the bottom half of the RMS, is it better to install the seal dry, or put a thin coat of Molly Lube on it? Thanks!~!!

what shepard said. keeps from fraying the seal as you push it on.

when asking Questions its related to van I own: 1987 GMC 3/4 ton G2500 vandura, V6, No AC, standard length. 3speed trans(no overdrive).
