We were searching for info on validating a 1957 fuelie.
DZauto posted a drawing of the 4" air intake hose and bracket on 03-20-08. Cannot read the part numbers and detail on the drawing. Would anyone know where we can get a copy of this drawing?
Thanks,
Lou

A link to Tom's post would help. Do you have the assembly manual? The intake hoses are shown in R.P.O. 578, Sheet 2.02.

Thanks for the quick reply. You were right on about the Assembly manual. That was where the drawing came from. What a terrific source of information.
cannot thank you enough. Will post photos after
we get car back from paint shop for some touchup. Went to this site and got the manual. //www.trifivechevys.com/manuals/1957Passenger AssemblyManual/
Car has most of the parts we see for a fuelie but has a shorter air intake hose. Seller did not have documents.
Thanks
Lou

There were 2 different lengths of the hose. If you have the low horse engine the hose has a bracket that holds it down on the side of the radiator. The high horse used the air scoop. Although very few have ever seen a real one.
