I would like to post the names of vendors and suppliers with whom I have dealt, and all of whom I heartily recommend. I have had great experiences with all of those listed below (if I have left anyone out, it is probably because we have not done business, yet). In alphabetical order:

American Autowire (of course). Americanautowire.com; 800-482-9473. Excellent products, and expert advice, always.

Gardner Exhaust. Gardnerexhaust.com; Tom or Eric Gardner, 845-758-8003. Made the dual exhaust system for my Chevelle. An exact match for the factory system I replaced. Beautiful work.

Mother Trucker Trucks. mothertruckeraz@aol.com. 520-235-2659. I got lots of great stuff from them when I was putting my ’53 together.

Patton Racing Carburetors. Lance Patton, 678-984-0106. Rebuilt the Carter AFB in my Impala, and the Rochester 4GC in my Malibu.

SMS Auto Fabrics. 803-263-3535. An amazing collection of original upholstery fabrics. They are very busy so allow extra lead time, but worth the wait.

Tachman. www.tachman.com, 864-895-4404. Repaired and calibrated tachometers and electric clocks in both of my ‘65s. Ten years later, still going strong.

Tag Doctor. rod@tagdr.com, 706-216-7670. Restoration of license plates. Re-did my original plates when I lived in Georgia. Not allowed in all states, so check local laws.

Truckman Vintage. 714-578-0176. Another great source for hard-to-find parts for Advance Design trucks.

Turnswitch/S&M Electro Tech. www.turnswitch.com. Greg Thompson, 877-780-2861, has restored more radios for me than I can remember, including tube and solid-state types. The only person I would trust with the AM/FM multiplex radio in my ’65 Malibu. A great guy, very knowledgeable.

I hope this list is of some value.
