What’s up with AFM disablers for 2019 and later models? Have the GM AFM changed so the previous disablers don’t work?

Did a Google search and found that in 2019 Chevy (GM) started using DFM (Dynamic Fuel Management) with 17 different variable cylinder deactivation on Silverado 5.3 and 6.2 engines. I don’t know if it was used on other 2019 GM vehicles but I would like to know if it or AFM was used 2019 Yukon Denalis. If the old AFM was used then I can delete it and save my engine from possible future lifter failure.

Thanks, junkman104. They say it includes both AFM and the new DFM systems.

Geese, I hate they did this to these new wonderful engines. One group designs a new and great engine and another compromises it.

Got and installed a Range AFM/DFM Disabler and it does work on my 2019 Denali. It holds it in V8 mode. I haven’t had a chance to check gas mileage yet but glad to stop the cylinder deactivation.
