front top bows can rust through on top of the bow under the convertible top... check that first. A new top rack bolt kit costs $150 and includes the entire top rack to replace all the bolts and other parts.

There are only 3 -5/16 bolts per side with fixed washers that hold the side rails on the top rack to the front bow. You can see these 6 bolts by looking at the rack inside the car on both sides by the front bow.

There is a USA company that sells very good tops. Do not buy a overseas top...
They sell plastic and glass back windows.

The plastic back window will wrinkle over time.
When putting a top down the plastic and glass window should be unzipped everytime the top is put down.

To add to what Paul wrote about the rear window, keep it clean and put a bath towel in the well when you put it down, and a bath towel on top of it before you put the top down. Get a copy of the top manual for directions how to lower your top. It will give you instructions for lowering the top, so you can get the top boot on without damaging it.

Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

Buy the top from Topsonline who sells EZ on brand tops that are USA made tops.

They have a extensive list of installers for the top all around the country.
I bought a bright white top for my 62 SS white red interior convert plus my friend bought the same bright white top for his red/red 62 Impala SS
Convertible and a blue top for my 62 SS Nassau Blue blue interior convertible.

The fit is great, I have pictures of all three 62

LOTS of folding top info in the '61 Shop Manual (the 'base' manual for the Supplements).
