Was a good day here today, sunshine and 85.
I was playing with my latest toy
55 Nomad.
I did not feel like welding and grinding floor boards. So went to work on the trim around my
cover board. All did not go well.....
According to Tech tips
Nomad News Feb 1983,, yes 83
Bottom edge trim closest to tail gate is 34 inch
Top edge trim closer to middle is 34 inch
side trim is 20 1/4 inch
Bottom and Top both 34 inch fit ok
My cover board is only 19 3/4 deep
it appears to be OEM, however
both pcs of side trim hang over the edge by 1/2 inch and will not connect with the 34 inch top
Is size of cover board wrong or is side trim incorrect

I can't say for sure about Nomad, but on my sedan delivery, (and I think standard wagon) my spare tire well cover is 34" by 20 1/2" wide. I know Nomad tail gate is on a greater angle than a wagon is, but do not know if the cargo floor length is the same. I did find a link to a site that has the trim pieces, if that helps.
