I have a recently installed hydraulic brake booster that is leaking hydraulic fluid from between the booster unit and master cylinder.
Does anyone know what likely to be needed for repair? I have never had one of these apart.

The master cylinder is leaking. The booster has no fluid in it. Just replace the master cylinder.

This is power steering fluid from the hydraulic booster. It is not a vacuum booster. It is not brake fluid.

Oops, missed that. I would suspect the spool O-ring is leaking. #6 in drawing. Where did you get the Hydroboost?

I bought it locally from a local parts store. Several years ago, early in the build. I just this week put oil to it and got the engine running. It is a rebuilt unit, but I suspect that any chance of warranty is not a possibility. And that is OK. Sometimes that stuff happens.
I just don't know If I should try to reseal it myself or go back to get another rebuilt unit.
With this parts breakdown, possibly I may try it myself .
