I recently picked up a Canadian built 61 impala. I can't seem to find much information on the Canadian cars. I'm mainly curious about finding out information about the paint, but would like to find a source for the other info as well.

Style 1869
Body number 100427
Paint "P"
Trim 852

I appreciate any information

You can get documents from GMHeritage Canada which will give you the day your car was built, original motor and transmission, selling dealer, and decode the paint and interior colour.
My check says exterior is twilight turquoise metallic #1, interior is turquoise vinyl, using us codes. Vinyl is usually in a convertible or wagon, but 1869 is a 4 door V8, so maybe the vinyl is wrong? The 100427 means it was the 427th Impala of that model built in Canada , which had only 1 plant in 1961.
