Anyone have a zone and code for Ross Chevrolet, Huron Ohio, they were there from 1956 - 1965.

Thanks,
Paul

I have a guy from Massachusetts that did my reproduction window sticker for my 62 Chevy.
He had all the dealers in California and South Dakota.

I bet he has them from all over the country.

Apparently McIntire Chevrolet took over from Ross Chevrolet in Huron in mid 60's and their zone number is 28 and dealer code is 378. Couldn't find a listing for Ross Chevrolet.

Cheers, Carl.

I would assume that the zone designation would remain the same, but wouldn't the dealer code change with the change of ownership?

I don't know Junky. I assumed that if McIntire bought out Ross and only changed the name, but not location, maybe the dealer code stayed the same? Maybe a new owner got issued with new dealer code, I don't know.

Cheers, Carl.

Yep have the Macintire info, not sure if they inherited the code or not.
Don’t know anyone in Mass doing repro documents?
Thanks,
Paul

His name is Jack George in Grafton, MA. He also goes by the name Pontiac Jack.

I sent you a message with his information. He gave me cards to hand out. The last window sticker he did for me was in 2018.

As I said he really knows how do correct window stickers in my opinion.

His 5 or 6 options are:
I used all of them
but the weathered copy laminated I think is the best
or a weathered not laminated copy.
Laminated copy window sticker to protect the copy(s)
buy not laminated copy
make a white window sticker ( i got one of these also)
make a weathered brown background window sticker(I got one of these -I like this option the best)

Someone told me about soaking the white paper in coffee to get the aged look. Just don't add sugar or cream, or try drinking it afterward.

you'll probably have to find someone with a build sheet, window sticker, bill of sale etc. from Ross. They will have dlr code and probably zone #s. Dealer codes typically change with ownership and over the years with consolidation & bailouts, etc. its quite possible the zone may have changed unless it's a medium to larger metro area.
