After putting on 40,000 miles last year and not having any accidents, 5 minutes away from my house I got hit in the passenger side quarter panel. I'm not sure a patch panel will fix it, so wondering if anyone knows where I can get a full quarter panel. Then I can make sure and cut out exactly what I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Deane

Dean
for your 61 ?
I don't think there is much available.
They are now making 62, 63 and 64 full 1/4 panels that match the factory 1/4 replacements. Not sure why 61's are excluded.

I used to have a nice used 4 door 1961 1/4 panel but it got thrown away buy mistake

this is what Hubbard has for 61's(just partial pieces) -they sell the 62, 63 and 64 full 1/4s.

Hey Paul, good to hear from you. Yes unfortunately I got hit by a wonderful little old lady. Long story, but here is what the damage looks like. What you been doing? I've been putting on a few miles. Here is a Good Guys Gazette article about my travels. Gazette . This is a longer article

A good body man could easily fix that. Don't cut your car apart unless you really have too.

That looks easily repairable. And I do bodywork for a living.

Take it to a shop that does restoration work. They will know how to work the metal, and make a perfect repair that will not be detectable. Not only that, they will also be able to match the paint perfectly. Restoration shops take their time doing repairs, where the average body shop has to keep turning out the work, because they always have collision work coming in. Daily drivers need to be fixed quickly, because the insurance company doesn't want to pay for the rental car, and the person needs the car to go to work. A restoration shop works on collector cars, where the owners are a lot more particular about the work. Depending on who you are insured with, talk to them about finding a shop. I have Hagerty Insurance, and they are absolutely great with claims. I speak from the experiences of some friends that have had claims.

Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

I agree with all on a good Body guy, and what Junky says. The body guy I use does mostly classics.
