Howdy......I'm taking my 56 Nomad apart (again). Hurricane Harvey put 3' of water inside her and my garage so after pulling the engine for a redo, I've decided to do the a CPP P/S upgrade as what I have now is "the poor man's power steering" (bearing assist) at at 70 yrs young............I needs a lil help HA HA. The kits through tomsclassic on ebay w/free shipping is about $539 or $549. (I believe they are AutocityClassic or something like that. List price on the CCP site is much more. Should I go ahead and give tomsclassic's the biz or do ya'll give CT a mo beda discount. If not I sure understand.
Thanks in advance.......
Russell

Final Update and trigger pulled.....

I just purchased the 56 Chevy complete P/S update kit and tilt column off of e-bay for the best price hands down. I had the pleasure of dealing with a super nice gent by the named of Chris. Very knowledgeable and has the stroke to make things happen quick. If your looking for anything Chevy, check e-bay under tomsclassic.

If you ask questions, you wont get a "MR. KNOW IT ALL" smart a.. You will receive straight answers and converse with a gent that wants to help you get what you need.

I think you'll be pleased, did my pwr disc upgrade thru Tom's. One minor glitch but very quick to help.
Can't say the same for CPP and their P/S upgrade unfortunately, bracket/clearance issues and another $100 didn't solve it. Thank you eBay and others like us with O.E. stuff to sell!
