Hi, haven't been here in several years but I was fairly active member years ago. I have a 1988 C1500 LWB that I bought 10 years ago with a 4/6 drop. 2" spindles and 2" springs up front and an axle flip with C-notch in the rear. The tuck has a lot of miles now and went from a toy back to being a "truck" again. I want to bring it back up a couple inches so I'm going to put stock springs back up front and helper springs in the back to bring it up 2 to 2.5 inches. I like a little drop but the 4/6 is just too much now. I currently have short "drop" shocks on it but they're pretty old now and will need replaced soon no matter what and I'd like heavier shocks in the rear at least to increase it's load capacity. With basically going to a 2/4 drop from the 4/6 can I run a stock length shock in front and go to a HD stock shock in the rear if I put shock extenders on it? I'm running 15 X 7 stock wheels and have put 6 ply 235/75/15 truck tires back on it. TIA

Thanks. Yeah, life kind of took some unexpected turns but I'm back.
