I just completed a TH350 swap in my 65, (removed the PG) I went to install the new shift indication plate in the console, and I guess Ive had the car apart too long because I cant remember how the light bulb mounts that lights it up. Its just floating in the hole. I searched around for pictures with no luck. Am I missing a piece?

Hey Joe,
There is a metal housing that the bulb pops into, which sits under the shift indicator plate.

I couldn't quickly find a pic of one for a 65, but this pic of the 66 version might jog your memory.
I hope this helps!
