Almost ready to start assembling my truck after paint. I have been looking thru an assembly book and seen a bracket that I currently do not have. It is the filler bracket that bolts to the rear of the front fenders.

I have searched for them and found them for sale but not sure if they are a required piece. It’s hard to find pictures online were people reuse them. I was thinking that with that part on and in between the door post and the cowl it would hold trash and water.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated on weather or not I should use them thanks in advance

Mine were missing. When I bought the truck it was in boxes basically. So I had to look thru the assembly manual to see how everything goes back together.

Mine were eat up bad. Do the cab seal clips fasten long filler bracket to fender brace ?? and also rubber seal?? Does door side of cab seal and inside of fender need to be body color as seen from hinge. Lots to consider the truck was taken apart and striped of paint 3 1/2 years ago. Getting closer to crusin every day.

I think I know what your talking about. It is a small piece that bolts to the rear top of the fenders and tucks into the cowl. That was probably a way to keep the leaves out of the fenders and as much of us know they don't work very well. This is just my assumption and is not solid proof on this. You could probably just make some if you have some sheet metal and some shears.

I have the parts https://www.lmctruck.com/1960-66-chevy-gmc/cbe -196... wonder how clips #14 work and how to install ? Have the filler and right angle piece also part you guys are speaking of. There is also a rubber cab seal. Hope it will fall together when installing fenders. Tom
