I am swapping from a small block to a big block and I've ran into a couple issues finding what works on my 66 impala. My 454 Big block engine came as a long block with no accessories. So I had to figure out what works as I went. The information is a little foggy.

As for moving the power steering over.

I tried some long brackets for a chevelle but they do not fit the impala.

CPP -(Part# 6572PSBK-BB)
you would think this description would fit.
1965-68 Chevy Chevelle Big Block Power Steering Bracket Kit 396 427 454

I got the new ones from EBAY. Looks like these will work. Pricey at $85 but...

The Small block PS bracket is on top and Big Block PS bottom. You can see how the bolt holes are different.

The rear bracket does not hit the header.

It seems as it should fit. The pump lines up with the outer pulley.

I should have one open pulley slot if I want to add AC on the passenger side down the road.

Now to find the correct pulley for the PS on the crank.

The PS pump from my Small block fits pretty good, the hoses seem to be a little short I can have new hoses made.

But the small block crank pulley is a about 1/2" off and does not align with the PS pump pulley.

I think they make one called a deep DEEP GROOVE (GM# 3874416) for the big block.

You can also buy a 3 grove pulley for a short waterpump big block. CPP - CP8845S

but not sure which one....

Brick, no experience w/big blocks here but recently added p/s to my stock non p/s small block. from your pics I see potential similar issues that I ran into. Make sure your alternator pulley/belt path clears the p/s pump & pulley. Mine did not due to the p/s pump brackets that came with my CPP kit so they sold me another $100 worth of alternator brackets to reposition it above the valve cover. DIDN'T Fit, would't clear the oil fill tube, so I found used O.E. p/s brackets and bingo, all is as it should be. P.S. I have brackets for sale! lol

I think I have enough room with the BBC PS brackets.

And to follow up with the PS pulley for Big blocks and a short Waterpump.

PN - GM# 3874416 works.

That looks good, about what my small block now looks like. The CCP brackets are 1/4" thick and their slotted adjustment is from stud at front of pump so it won't clear the belt. Your OE brackets look very similar to the small block setup I finally ended up with

Small block is completely different setup bolt orientation wise.

I had to get new hoses and belt also.

The belt is a CONTITECH 10X925 V-Belt

and the hoses are premade to fit under $25 for both.
