Decided to sell my 64 Impala sport coupe, https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for- sale/chevrolet/impala/236 4217.html
price is negotiable. Feel free to message me for any additional questions

Below is the writeup from the listing, see link above for pictures

This listing is for a 1964 Chevrolet Impala 2 door Sport Coupe with a 327 250hp engine and power glide transmission. This Impala wears an older repaint of its original Aqua Azure color, code 918 with matching aqua interior.

This is a well maintained and partially restored driver quality car. This is NOT a show car. It can be driven at the turn of a key from city to highway. The original, numbers-matching engine and transmission have been completely rebuilt under the supervision of a third-generation Impala expert, with many parts restored to their original look and specification, with the exception of a mild RV cam and minor modifications to the Rochester 4bbl for better low-end acceleration. The Aqua Azure paint is a presentable but older repaint (15-footer); there are a number of bubbles and cracks in the usual spots (see pictures for details). The body is almost entirely rust free except for a spot in the tail pan that looks to have been poorly patched over during a 1990 respray of the vehicle, the trunk also presents some surface rust. The undercarriage is clean and wears and older undercoating which may or may not be original. The hood is a 1990 replacement. The two-tone aqua interior is restored, and the 1964 Chevrolet under-dash air conditioning unit was added by the current owner with entirely original or restored GM parts, converted to R134a in the event of outside servicing. The rebuilt A6 compressor operates as it should and does not leak oil. The odometer maintains its original reading just under 100,000 miles, but the rebuilt motor has only about 8k of those, during which a number of various kinks were addressed. In 4 years the third owner of this car invested at least 12k, if not more into the car; below is a small selection of the various repairs made to the vehicle:

Professionally rebuilt engine and transmission

Carburetor professionally restored with secondary jets enlarged (note that carburetor has hot idle compensator to accommodate AC and modern fuel)

New 3 Core radiator

Carrier Shaft Bearing

Drivers side window (with date code)

New vent windows (chrome frame and glass)

radio and speaker restoration with aux cord put in back

Steering wheel restoration

Addition of under-dash a/c unit

Completely rebuilt brakes with new shoes, springs, and master cylinders- note: dual master cylinder added and booster replaced

Reproduction T3 headlights;

New Coker American Classic whitewall tires 275r14 (note: current owner acquired 4 60s Chevrolet 14x5 inch wheels, however the spare remains an unknown 14x6 inch wheel from a different owner)

Again, this car is not a show car; it was driven weekly during its ownership and was state inspected annually since its purchase in 2016, but it is a solid, nearly rust-free example that would be a great candidate for a comprehensive restoration or to be enjoyed as-is.
