Chevy k2500 6.2D always starts perfectly and runs smooth at idle... problem is that it sometimes dies when letting off accelerator quickly.
It has a new electric pump and new filters. Dont think this is caused by air in diesel.

The car has not been driven for almost four years and given the diesel here i sweden I have added some 2stroke oil when fueling.

Any ideas to try?

This should be posted in the truck section. Would get more hits there.
The likely culprit is the injection pump.
That is a mechanical version.
How many miles on it?
Try purging the air and see if it goes away.
there should be a purge valve by the thermostat housing, Put a hose on it and put it in a bottle, run it for a few minutes and close the valve
