When I started to restore my '50, I threw away all the heater hose. I have the routing guide that RAM_51 posted some time ago. What I need is the length and size of the 3 different hoses so I can purchase enough new stuff. Any one have a good measurement? Thanks

I think there is an accessory manual in the sticky notes. It may have the information you need. Pretty easy to measure it out though at least get close enough so you can cut what you need and have a little left over.

Will this help? It doesn't have the hose size.

Thanks, but I was looking for the length of hose needed to do the entire job. I have the hose routing diagram that RAM_51 posted about three years ago. I since have purchased the Chevrolet Accessories Installation Manual and it contains the same diagrams. But no where is there a specific length given. The parts book states 5/8" ID and approximately 100 feet.

I seriously doubt that there is 100 feet of hose involved in the heater, even with an under seat heater that would be a stretch.

If we're talking about the Air Flow Heater, I can measure the hoses on mine and post those here.

Yes, the measurements would be for an Air Flow Heater. Thanks

This is what I came up with. It was a little difficult to get a real accurate measurement especially on the hose that goes from the valve to the heater core. I'd buy a little extra.

RAM, this is exactly what I was looking for. I will buy some additional hose just to be on the safe side. Again, THANK YOU for taking the time. It is appreciated!

I'll bet you 8' would do it though. Mine had some pretty sweeping curves to them that probably didn't need to be there.

I think that should be 100 inches. Would be 8' 4".
