Thinking of putting a repop right side bed panel on my 75 fleetside. I have not been able to locate a good used one. Just how bad are the repop ones. How much thinner is the metal. I hear very little good about them. Almost have to be a body man to make them fit correctly I'm told.

I don't know what's out there as far as a box side for a '75 Pick-up either aftermarket or NOS. Ebay is where you might find an NOS box side...but I wouldn't bet the farm on it or how long you'd have to wait before one showed up.

The biggest problem with aftermarket panels is that many lack the crispness that an original panel will have. The aftermarket guys just don't posses the types of presses that were used in production...hence body lines, creases, etc. sometimes lack the same clarity as an original. It does help to have some basic autobody skills. I know that some votech schools take on projects like that if you're not up to it. Just an idea.
