Anyone have suggestions on the easiest way to install belts?

I’d like lap belts at the very least, but shoulder ideally...

Thanks

If you look at the pix in my sig you can see how I installed the "nut" in the pillar. It came from Julianos. I would highly recommend you use the "nut plates" under the floor also from Julianos.

Thanks. Finally got the truck yesterday. After I get the safety done, I'll have it at home to do these jobs.......

The problem is that it's the big back window version and I'm not sure there's room to drill, but I'll certainly assess the situation and post results.

I can't see to get to your link. Even after I bypass the UNSAFE warning, the link is bad. Is there another?

Definately interested in putting it in........

Thanks!

Did you have to pull the interior panels off to fish up between the back window and the B pillar?

Easily done?

Sorry, the link works fine for me. There are no "interior panels" on these trucks originally. Cameos have door panels the rest have paint.

Okay the link worked on my Mac.

I see the hole you drilled. What was next? Fishing up and pop rivetting the plate?

Another option is to drill a couple of small holes above and below the big hole. Fish the plate up and install a bolt in the big hole to hold the plate in place then spot weld the plate at the 2 small holes. Then smooth off the spot welds and the attachment points are invisible. If your interior panels are already finished, I guess rivets would be easier.

What Don57 describes is what I did. Two 1/4" holes plug welded to the plate.
