The best place around is http://turnswitch.com/radio1.htm for adding all those features to an original push button radio.
Greg also has exact fit 8 ohm upgrade speakers to go with his higher power radio conversions.
There is a 66 Delco radio pictured which is a good example.

On a tangent, but because:
There is nothing on the the radio I care to listen to
I did not want to invest a lot of $
I did not want to tear up a perfectly good dash/interior
I bought a portable/rechargeable blue tooth speaker that I keep in a plastic cup holder hanging from my dash. It's about the size of a 16 oz beer can. It isn't stereo, and I can't entertain the entire neighborhood, but it plays MY music from my phone to my satisfaction. The volume is PLENTY loud enough to hear with the top down. Distortion and sound quality are VERY good (as good as I require). Now, I'm not trying to hear all the highs and lows of the album version of 'Time has come today' in my car. But I can hear everything I want to (and am able to with my old ears).
The speaker has external volume controls, a charge last about 8 hours (it's up to me to keep it charged), and I simply put it out of sight in the trunk when I park the car.
There are MANY available at varying prices. I bought an 'Ultimate ears' for about $200 . That's my total investment. It sounds better than the OEM radios of the day.
Just an alternative.

RetroSound Review.
Do your own research though.

I did a ReadiRad AM modulator in my 65. Keeps the dash stock, and I simply plug my phone in and it plays on the stock AM radio.
