Hi folks,
I hope everybody had a great turkey day!
OK, here we go..I have a 454 in my 57. I'm using Earl Williams motor mounts, and headers.Everything fits great with the 605 power steering pump.My problem is that the serpentine system I have puts everything forward about an inch or so too long using the A.R.E. Radiator system.(great system!)
Do any of you fine folks have any ideas on a accessory drive system that might fit with this configuration?
Thanx for looking, and again, happy Thanksgiving day to all!
PS I was thinking the stock configuration from a BB '63, or'64 vette might work.(Im not commited to serpentine)
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanx..."T",,,

There is no such thing as a '63 BB, they came out in '65-1/2. A 65-68 stock GM Chevelle/Impala pulley set and short pump is compact in the forward direction.

What's an A.R.E. radiator system? Does it mount in front of or behind the radiator cross brace?
What serpentine system do you have now?
Where do the two interfere?
Can't help you if we don't know what you have.

As I stated in my correction, the radiator is from Auto rad out of Gainsville Georgia. The serpintine system I have is an off brand from E-bay (my bad) that spaces the water pump out about 1-1/8".I'm just looking for options that dont push that far forward. The Auto rad system incorporates their core support with the radiator mount moving it forward 1".
