The blower motor on my el camino and my impala are both not working.
I'm assuming that the stud on the motor is where the power goes and it is grounded by bolting to the firewall.
Is this true? If so I tried jumping direct from the battery with no luck

The positive connection looks like a flat nail head and the cable slips over top of that. The two threated bolts should ground it. But on my 59 Brookwood, I had to run a wire to the blower and ground it to the body. Somewhere I must have not grounded the unit and it may have been the sealant i used, etc...
