A new tank selector switch has arrived. I wanted a new one since the white letters are barely readable. Has a new selector switch fixed anyone's fuel needle past the full mark problem? The left tank now only reads past the full mark. I have to guess how much fuel is left in it before swapping to the right side. It may be time to take the bed off again and swap sending units in both tanks.

Probably the sending unit causing it.The new switch will tell for sure!
I have to pull the tank on my wife's 85 GMC and replace it.Reads past full all the time.Single tank truck,so no switch.
Unfortunately,Spectra is all that's available unless you can find an original GM part.
Mike.

I plan to swap the switch this week. I can probably save the stock switch. A little white paint or nail polish will make the letters visible again. RockAuto has three manufactures. I ordered the WVE version.
