So I have this supercharged 400. It runs ok, but it has a ton of blowby. I had to ditch the standard breathers for catch can, but even that is not enough cause I'm getting suffacated by the amount of oil fumes coming out of the motor. tweakbox

I haven't torn it apart yet, but I did throw the scope into a couple of the cylinders and here is what I see. First, all of the sparkplugs are covered in oil. Second, there seems to be some scoring on the cylinder walls. It doesn't seem too bad, but its visible on the scope. One of the cylinders also had some pitting on it, I think from sitting too long. tutuapp

What I don't get is why im getting this much blowby, and it seems to be on all the cylinders, looking at the sparkplugs. The score marks don't seem bad enough to cause that much of issue. I haven't done a compression test, so that's next. Any other things it can be I should check for when I tear it apart? appvalley

Please post that in the appropriate forum for you vehicle. This is for new member intro's, not technical questions.
