Hi All. I have a quick question about this Camaro subframe, which I obtained as payment for a debt. I do have a Camaro that I'm planning to put back in working order at some point, but I haven't learned much about these cars yet. So, I was wondering if the experts here could identify this subframe and its applications (i.e., vehicle makes and years it will fit). I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet, but knowing exactly what it is will help me decide whether to sell or use it.

Thanks in advance for your expert advise and assistance!

I think that 1st Gen. s/f's have a rect. hole in the tranny cross member and the BB cars have one with a corner cut at a 45 degree.

So I don't know what you have.

Probably a 2nd Gen. S/F???

Might go over to David Pozzi's great site and look around/ask.

If you do, then please tell David that old pdq67 sent you to his great site.

What did you figure out what S/F you have?

Oh, the 1st Gen. '67 to '69 S/F's also fit '68 to '74 X cars.

("NOVA", cars)... Chevy Nova, Olds Omega, Pontiac Ventura, and Buick Apollo.

That looks to be a subframe from a 1969 Camaro. I just compared these pictures to the A-arm pictures on the internet.

1967 Chevrolet Impala SS convertible 327 - Ermine White C1 - VCCA Senior Award
1967 Chevrolet Impala SS Sport Coupe 396 - Marina Blue FF - personal "barn-find" lol
    1965 Chevrolet Malibu 4D Wagon
