Need some help. I have the complete rear end of my 31 Chevrolet Sport Coupe removed from the car. I am replacing all the seals and gaskets along with the front propeller shaft bushing. How is the drive shaft removed from the torque tube?

If it is similar to the later units you have to pull the drive shaft out of the rear end after removing ring and pinion and some other stuff. The manual if available would be a huge help.
