Hi, MY 05 CAVALIER 2 dr gets a soaked driver floor when it rains and I wonder if there is a common problem or if this is only on my car. I cleaned all the rubber door seals and channel runs and any debri, had a cracked windshield replaced with the new glass seal, and still the water gets in. The car is parked while this occurs. Is it in the cowl vent area? Any ideas?
thanks jim

I would remove the cowl panel and run a hose in the area, have someone look to see if it drips inside.
It could be windshield seal.
Inspect it well around the sides and bottom.
Make sure there are no gaps between the cowl and the windshield.
What is the rust factor? If rust is excessive I would be checking the firewall at the seam about half way down for rot
