Most any hardware store should have tape measures. But seriously, what is the part from? It sort of looks like something from the steering shaft. Maybe try Eckler's for whatever car this is from.

That looks like a ball socket end on a transmission or carb control rod. You should be able to find the complete link either used or repop for the application it's used for. See View A. Link to rod end

Thanks it's a rod assembly ball socket for automatic transmission. I've looked all over for this thing and nobody has them.

I just upgraded my 62 from a cast iron powerglide to a 2004r. I have all the shifter and kick down linkages that are in good shape. Pm me if you are interested in them.
