For a car with V-8, Powerglide, and factory power steering, what are my options for installing power brakes? I see the new master cylinder and booster units will not fit with the power steering pump on the generator, which will be used.

I'd like to stay as original as possible, which is why I posted on this forum and not the other tri-five forum here. How common was factory-installed power brakes in 57?

I was surprised to be able to find good used power steering parts without too much trouble, wondering if it would be a similar experience for power brakes.

There are offset brackets to accomodate moving the gen, to clear everything.

In 1957 power brakes were not real common, I would say found on 5% of the cars. Power steering on perhaps 15%.
A good number of 1957 cars were still basic 3 speed 6 cylinder or 283 2 barrel basic cars.
