i rebuilt engine .3o over mild cam. it runs good around town,but when i put the pedal down it does not take off. the trans goes into passing gear but no power. i put a stage 2 chip in computer,didnt change anything. i have a new fuel pump and changed filter. any help would be appreciated

What’s your fuel pressure?
Did you try it without the Stage 2 first, or did you just add the stage 2 from the beginning?
I have a 40 over 5.7 with a Melling MTC-1 cam and a stock tune and it performs perfectly.
Also, 700R4 or 4L60E transmission?

it ran the same with the stock chip. im going to check fuel pressure tomorrow. what do you think about the ignition module
