Hi.
Im about to install the Stock Power steering back in the 54 Convertible.
I Think i was reading about it in here somewhere but now i cant find it..
Question- What is the lenght of the PS V-Belt and whats the width? Anyone?

7/16" X 50" is what I'm seeing listed for that application. I do not know if that's correct or not.

This isn't an exact answer, but I've always used a thick rope for belts and a piece of the flexible air duct for 80's carburetor air cleaners for radiator hoses. Either of those in the hands of a GOOD parts guy or gal (truly an endangered species) will get you the right belt or radiator hose. With the belt, just be sure to put the pulleys in a position that will account for the belt's thickness when measuring.

Please take photos and post them! I am sure I dont speak just for my self when I say stock power steering on these cars is fascinating. I have never seen the components up close

Thanks Guys, ill check Tomorow at the local hardware store.
Drew, i started the installation this evening, took some pics but they were crap. Ill get some Tomorow when the sun gets up:)
