I have a '65 C10 with factory installed power assist steering. Is there some place that has a rebuild kit? This is not a later model power steering system installed in an older truck. This is from the factory ( I think). It has a pump with two hoses connected to a hydraulic cylinder that is connected to the frame on one side and the steering linkage on the other. There is a valve system attached to the steering box that actuates the hydraulic cylinder. It's mighty leaky and needs some rebuilding. I'm not finding any reference to this type of power steering in catalogs. any leads? Thanks

Seal kits for the cylinder and the valve are easy to find at any Corvette parts dealer, they use the same or similar components. Some NAPA auto parts stores also carry them. Ask for 63-82 Corvette seal kits.

Before getting the cylinder seals, look at the shaft first, if there are any worn spots, rust pits, corrosion, etc, the seals will wear out quickly. In that case a new cylinder may be what you need.

The valve can also be corroded where the seals are installed, but you have to take the valve off and take it apart to check for that, so it's a bit more work. New valves are also available too.

Done! I tried to rebuild but couldn't get it apart. Then found a re-manufactured one for around $100. Bolted right in and looks great. Now having problems with pulley alignment on the pump.
