You say won’t start. Click, click, click? Turn key to start and NOTHING? Will the starter turn motor over? Almost sounds starter solenoid. More info. please.

try moving the gear shift lever around (automatic)and see if the neutral safety switch is the culprit. My car wouldn't start in park, but would start in reverse and drive. Had to adjust the neutral safety switch to remedy the problem. Now it starts in park and neutral, but not in reverse or drive, as the General intended.

Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

Did car start properly before this problem? If so, did you make any changes immediately before problem started?

Try removing the wiring harness at the bulkhead connector see if its all corroded its very common for water to run into it causing your exact problem. Clean it the best you can and pack the connector full of grease it keeps the water out and also air to keep things from corroding.
